RecordSeason.com is operated by State908 Games LLC. This page says what the site stores and what it does not. It is short because the site does very little.

No account, no sign-in

There is nothing to sign up for. We do not ask for your name, your email address, or anything else that identifies you, and there is no way to give us any of it.

What is stored

Finished games

When a season is scored we record the game’s own id, the yard total, and which four cards were used. The id is generated by us and is not connected to you in any way.

A rate-limiting fingerprint

To stop one machine hammering the server, each request is counted against a value derived from the connecting IP address. That value is hashed with a secret key and truncated before it is stored, so what is kept cannot be turned back into an IP address by anyone who does not hold the key. It exists only to count requests within a one-minute window.

Your sound setting

Whether you muted the game is saved in your own browser’s local storage, under a single key. It never leaves your device and we never see it. Clearing your browser data removes it.

What is not stored

• No cookies. The site sets none.
• No analytics and no tracking scripts.
• No advertising or third-party scripts of any kind at present.
• No location, no contacts, no device identifiers, no profiles.

Who else is involved

Two services are needed to run the site, and both act on our behalf:

• Vercel hosts it. Like any web host, Vercel processes connection information — including IP addresses — in its own server logs in order to serve the page at all.
• Supabase stores the two tables described above.

We do not sell or share your information, because we do not hold any information about you to sell or share.

Children

This is a football game and children may well play it. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, of any age, because we do not collect personal information at all. If you believe we have somehow ended up holding information about a child, write to us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to see, correct or delete personal information a company holds about you. We are glad to help with any such request, with one honest caveat: we hold nothing that identifies you, so in most cases there will be nothing to show you.

If this changes

If we add advertising, analytics, accounts or a leaderboard, this page will be updated before that happens and the date at the top will change. Adding ads in particular would introduce a third party with its own privacy practices, and that will be named here when it does.
